CHALKDOWN RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION

Sports category:

Equestrian Sports

Overview

Chalkdown RDA is part of the National Riding for the Disabled Association and is a separate self-funding charity. Our very special RDA ponies provide life-changing therapy and offer opportunities for disabled riders to achieve amazing things. They are non-judgemental, patient and loyal and they open up a world of possibilities. Supported by qualified and experienced Coaches and a team of dedicated volunteers, our riders benefit from the activity, challenges and fun that the horses bring. Physically the warmth and movement of the horse relaxes and strengthens core muscles which helps to improve balance and aids standing, sitting and walking. Our riders gain confidence, build self esteem and make lasting friendships. We work with children and adults of all ages and abilities. The Chalkdown Community is a happy place to be.
