Overview

These Walking Rugby sessions are open to all ages 18+ and all genders and abilities. Through walking sports with Team-Mates this provides like-minded individuals with the chance to enhance their physical well-being within Walking Rugby. People are also offered a safe place to interact over light refreshments. Once a month we will invite mental health experts from various organisations and external services to visit the sessions to provide talks and information on their service and available support. No experience is required, please meet at the HPC at 5:30pm for free pre-activity refreshments. The coached walking rugby session will take place from 6pm - 7pm with post activity refreshments also being offered. The sessions will take place in the High Performance Centre (HPC) or Back Pitches at cinch Stadium. Please note: No trainers can be worn in the HPC, instead rugby boots with metal studs or boots with moulded studs must be worn. This is to ensure the pitch is kept to a high standard.
