Wake Up and Dance

Overview

Welcome to your 10 minutes of daily dance activity to add to your daily routine/schedule! We will play 10 minutes of music and you can dance or move along as you like. It is a fun way to get the body and mind active and ready to start the day, whilst connecting with other people who share a joy of dance. Wake up and Dance is a collaborative project between BEEE Creative, Active Dacorum and Dacorum Community Dance and provides 10 minutes of dance activity for people of all ages to dance together online via Zoom every week day morning. At 9am each weekday participants are greeted on Zoom by a Wake Up and Dance Host (BEEE Creative, Dacorum Community Dance, Active Dacorum), listen and dance along to 10 minutes of music tracks (no taught movement) and have a brief moment to give everyone a wave and connect before leaving. It’s short burst of fun physical activity to get the body and mind active and connect with others. This project is inspired by Daily Dancing, a project developed by Cultured Mongrel, and offered without charge to support the sector and our communities.
