Our combined Tai Chi and Qigong class starts with a gentle warm-up to calm the breathing and mind, and mobilise the body. Angela will guide you through the Tai Chi steps from the front of the hall, talking you through each of the movements. We will learn a new step or revisit and refine one each class, building on the previous movements to flow a sequence together. Along the way we'll learn the health benefits of each move, the martial applications and tai chi principles. For the Qigong section Angela will guide you in mirror image through a flowing routine to gently stretch the body and relax the mind, before a gentle warm-down to end the class. Please wear loose comfortable clothing, you can work in flat shoes, in socks or bare feet, whichever is your preference. Please bring a drink of water to keep hydrated.
