An interesting walk from the lovely Saxon town of Wareham starting from WALX HQ! Join us for a walk to explore the history and how integral the two rivers are to the town and major historical events.
This week we explore the walls and divert off to follow the river and to the mill under the main road.
Every Wednesday in the Summer the quay is transformed into a fun event with music food and fireworks - there is the chance to stay for a drink and enjoy the entertainment or head straight back to the car park.
We will start at WALX HQ so park in stretche road car park and turn left down west st to meet at the store - arrive early if you want to browse or use the loos. Poles not essential but welcome on this walk.
