Welcome to Disability Shooting GB Club - DSGB

Overview

We are a friendly Shooting Club for disabled people to learn or improve their shooting in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment. As a British Shooting Hub Club, we have close association with GB Paralympics and many DSGB members have processed to the GB Talent Squad. Our 10m range in the Olympic Lodge at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Aylesbury, the birthplace of the modern Paralympic Games, caters for air rifles and pistols on both electronic and manual targets. Our shooting range is also the venue for monthly Paralympic Talent training. For new members we have a selection of rifles and pistols for you to use whilst you are learning and working out which suits you best. With the support of our International, National and Club level qualified Coaches who work with our members on and off the shooting line, we are able to accommodate and support and indeed, welcome all levels of disability whether new to the sport or, have been shooting for a while and wish to improve. Everyone is welcome to join us for our monthly weekend meetings where suitable accommodation and meals can be booked so you are able to concentrate on and enjoy your shooting. Our members range from 12yrs to any age and membership is open to both the local community and across the whole of England. Both the shooting range and the site at Stoke Mandeville are fully accessible with plenty of parking.

Meeting point instructions:

Our Shooting Range is at the Olympic Lodge onsite at Stoke Mandeville Sports Stadium. We meet on one weekend (Sat/Sun) each month and whilst the dates can vary, this is usually around the 3rd weekend of the month.. Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 2pm.

Accessibility Information:

Access to our shooting range is step-free and fully accessible by wheelchair users. There are disabled toilets at the range and free disabled parking on site. Coffee and Tea are available at the range and there is a cafeteria at the Sports Stadium on site. Carers and helpers are welcome to accompany our shooters.
