Football for Youth with learning disabilities- Killinghall Nomads Juniors

Overview

Killinghall Nomads Juniors was formed in 1987 and is now a well-established Junior Football Club in the Harrogate area. We offer junior football coaching and competition from Under 6's to Under 17's which includes dedicated girl’s age groups from Under 7’s to Under 16’s as well as a pan-disability section. We also have a newly established open-age Ladies Beginners team (The Killinghall Nomans!). The Club’s philosophy has always been “Football for All” with an emphasis on fun and an acknowledgment that young people gain many additional skills and benefits from being involved in sport other than just winning. We are an England Football 2 star Accredited Club. All our coaches are fully DBS checked and are FA qualified. We take the safety of children very seriously and want to ensure that they get the best experience possible from the best game in the world. Despite being “nomadic” for many years we now have a permanent home at Killinghall Moor Community Park with multiple pitches for 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and 11-a-side.
