Outdoor lawn bowls
Overview
Bowling keeps you social. At the end of the day, bowls is a social sport. It’s fun. It gets you out of the house for a few hours. It’s a great way to spend quality time with your friends and family. At its core, bowls is a simple game, your objective is to bowl your wood as close as you can to a small ball (the Jack, or “kitty”) which is at the other end of the rink (a lane on the bowls green). What does Sidley Martlets Bowls Club Offer? You will get a warm welcome. The activity for special groups is available at Sidley Martlets Bowls Club in Bexhill every Wednesday during the summer between 10:30am and 12:30pm and consists of about 1 hour of bowls and 1 hour of tea/coffee and biscuits. The club is an outdoor bowls club. There is free on street parking near the club. There is a tarmac path through the recreation ground to the club. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has a disabled toilet. There is plenty of seating both inside the clubhouse and outside surrounding the green. There is a ramp to access the green. An adapted wheelchair (with wide wheels) is also available for those who require additional support. We also have a “rollator”, a walker with wide wheels a seat and a brake. All bowls equipment is provided along with advice on how to improve your bowling. Participants only need to bring clean trainers (or any shoes without a heel)Club features
