Wheelchair Basketball

Overview

Lancaster Bulldogs Wheelchair Basketball Club is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive club. We compete in the British Wheelchair Basketball National League, and also the UKWB Development league and UKWB U15’s league. We like to train hard to be competitive, but also like to have fun and just enjoy learning and developing within the sport. Wheelchair basketball is a great sport to help improve your fitness, learn technical and tactical skills, and also to socialise and make friends. We welcome all levels of players from complete beginners to those with a wealth of experience! You also do not have to have a disability to play wheelchair basketball. Even if you are unsure whether wheelchair basketball would be the sport for you, I would really encourage you to just come and give it a try! You’ve nothing to lose and possibly everything to gain!
