Overview

Here at Pedal Power we're committed to helping people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the many benefits (physical, mental, practical, economic, environmental!) of cycling. Since we opened in 2001, we’ve helped thousands of people with a wide range of physical and mental impairments to access cycling. Based in central Cardiff, we have the biggest range of accessible and adaptive bikes, trikes and accessories in Wales (and one of the largest in the U.K.). We work with children and adults and offer cycle hire, cycle training and skills & confidence building training - either as one-to-one sessions or informal groups rides. Our main site is next to the Taff Trail and beautiful parkland of Llandaff and Pontcanna Fields and Bute Park, making ideal for off-road cycling. We also have an accessible cafe and facilities at this site. We hire cycles to our members and general public. There is a small hire charge, however our membership model (only £25 per year) means that members hire for less, and their carers (where necessary) can cycle with them for free. We are wheel chair accessible. on-site parking for customers and accessible cafe (step-free access and flexible space) and toilets. We have a hoist if required.
