O'Oshimeyo Judo Club

Overview

Although 90% of our participants are Adaptive or VI we are an inclusive club regardless of age/ability/religion/culture/ethnicity etc. Players range from non verbal ASD/Global delay/physical disabilities to VI ADHD and mainstream. At present we are quite a small cohort of young players aged 10-19 however, anyone wishing to take part or have a look at what we can offer they can. We train 5.30-6.30pm on a Tuesday evening at the Engine house in Merthyr Tydfil. We teach recreational and competitive judo recently our youngsters aged 10-14 went to the European get together parapotential British Open (for some it was these youngsters very 1st competition) we took 6 players and came back with 2 golds 1 silver and 3 Bronze medals across the ability levels in our sport.
