Weston Ability Football Club is a Pan Disability Football Club for ages 7 to adults with disabilities and/or additional needs inc. SEN. Train and play in the Somerset ability count’s league in a fand, safe and inclusive environment.

Our goal is to enable disabled children and adults to take part in a competitive sport using an adapted electric wheelchair. Founded in 2007 and boasting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the club is always on the lookout for enthusiastic new recruits. We currently have one squad that plays in the Wheelchair Football Association (WFA) National Championship League and two squads who play in South East Regionals division 1 and 3.

Several of our players originally started out at South West Cerebral Palsy football club. It was obvious from the start that these young players had an appreciation of the game and played harmoniously together. In 2018 Bob Young took over the coaching, in order to develop the youth side of the SWCP club, and he completed his FA training soon after.
