A personalised aqua therapy class designed for individuals with muscle and joint problems, including arthritis, knee, hip, and back pain. For the first session, please arrive 30 minutes before the start time.
Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £12.00 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Walking football is designed to give you the chance to play the game you love but reduce the chances of injury. It's a great way to keep fit, learn skills, have fun and socialise!
We encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
With a qualified cancer rehab instructor, individuals will be led on a physical recovery journey and taught how to improve, retain or regain their fitness, pre or post treatment.
Walking netball is designed to help people keep an active lifestyle despite their age, as well as getting those back playing netball who had to stop due to injuries.
