We encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
Functional Fitness for Seniors is about exercising to improve your ‘function’ - the things you need to do in day to day life. The class focuses on those 'Fundamental' movements that we all need to make the most of our lives, both now and in the future. It is about undertaking exercises that support you in every day movements taking a whole body approach. *Strength, *Balance, *Endurance, * Agility *Co-ordination This class is fun and friendly too!

Walking Tennis is safe, fun and inclusive and a fantastic way to stay active! It’s a game that’s open to anyone - whether you’re a lifelong tennis player, a complete beginner or just need a bit more time to get into the swing of things, you can give the game a go in a friendly, supportive setting. Sessions cost £6 which include refreshments.
Falls are not an inevitable part of getting older and the good news is, falls can often be prevented. Steady and Strong classes for older adults have been developed by experts to increase your strength and balance, helping you to stay stronger for longer and able to keep doing the things you love. You will do a mix of seated and standing exercises, with chair support for those who need it.
A Low Impact circuit class aimed for residents who are inactive and at risk of cardiovascular diseases and mild to moderate mental health conditions. Please note all participants looking to take part must book a consultation to see the Get Active Specialist first. This consultation will run through the essential inclusion criteria to determine eligibility. Participants will receive 6 weeks free of exercise classes and then £4.50 per person
Level 2: 2 - 2.5 miles, tracks and some hills or moderate pace. Ideal for those looking to develop their walking fitness and able to complete 45-60 mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Gentle, fun, chair-based ecercises
Grade 3 - 1 hour, about 3 miles, moderate hills, faster pace and possible stiles (Evening Walks 7.00pm August 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th). If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing. You don't need any special equipment but be sure to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water.
