The Club comprises of Short Curlers who come along for the fun and social interaction of the game and other Curlers who come for the competitions that are run throughout the season. Age, race and disability is no barrier in our club, in fact our oldest member is 89! Nothing is impossible, everything is possible!

An adaptable class that responds to your individual ability, water confidence and focus. Perfect for returning to exercise, building confidence and fitness. Suitable for recovery from injury or managing a musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. Pre-registration is required before attending your first Good Boost session, please contact your local leisure facility.
Participants must complete and submit a referral form prior to accessing this class This class is part of our BE ACTIVE … live well programme which is aimed at those with a health condition; the older adult; and/or those who haven't exercised before and don't know where to start. Seated exercise is a chair based exercise to music class, which is suitable for all levels. Age : 16+

This walk starts out from Burnt Yates, crosses fields down to Shaw Mills, and along Cut Throat Lane before returning via the waterside High Mill. At around 3 miles, this very pleasant walk has some hill work out of Shaw Mills, and some stiles (depending on where the cows are!). It takes about an hour and a half.
A class designed for people following a cardiac episode, including surgery, to continue to be active in a safe environment.
