Come along and join this weekly Wellbeing Walk from Silver Jubilee Park by Just Straight Talk, taking place every Wednesday afternoon. The first walk will meet at 12.50 and the walk will commence at 13.00 The second walk will commence at 14.00. Each walk is approximately one hour long but walkers can leave at anytime they wish owing to the location and nature of the walk. Each walk is very easy with two sets of 4 steps. Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. Session for family to build water confidence in a calm environment with unique ambience created by coloured lighting effects and sounds/music. This activity’s ideal for those looking to enjoy a sensory experience based around visual, hearing and touch senses.
A slower version of the game, it`s still netball, but played at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it, regardless of fitness level and sessions are taken by a trained activator. Don’t worry if you have forgotten the rules, as they will be able to help you on your way to getting back into the sport you love.
