Join our community sports sessions, we are currently running No Strings Badminton. These are casual drop-in sessions open to all members and community users.
Strength & Balance is a chair-based exercise programme for over-55s living in Islington. These sessions can be done sitting down but are also suitable for those looking to improve their balance and become steadier on their feet. These gentle exercise classes are also suitable for people with movement-limiting conditions such as COPD and arthritis. If you or a loved one are looking to improve strength and increase independence then this is the class for you.
Grade 2 - 45 minutes, about 2 miles, moderate hills, faster pace, possible stiles - (Alternative Fridays May 3rd, 17th & 32st, Jume 14th & 28th, July 12th & 26th, Aug 9th & 23rd). If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing.
