Marple Senior Citizens Association, Offerton Memorial Park, Marple, Stockport, SK6 6BA SMILE is a low impact and gentle exercise concept developed by Life Leisure. The programme provides a fun, engaging and adaptable exercise and physical activity sessions for older adults and those with long term health conditions or disabilities.
Join us for a weekly guided walk and talk in the local area. It’s your chance to catch up with old friends, or meet new people while enjoying the benefits of gentle exercise. Plus join us at the café after the walk for a light refreshment.
A step by step approach to help you live with and beyond cancer by providing you with a range of tools and opportunities to enhance your recovery. The program is available to people across Berkshire and can be on a self referral basis.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us.
