Steady and Strong classes for older adults have been developed by experts to increase your strength and balance, helping you to stay stronger for longer and able to keep doing the things you love. You will do a mix of seated and standing exercises, with chair support for those who need it.

There are two classes available: A Beginner/Intermediate class which lasts for 45 minutes and an Intermediate/Advanced class, which lasts for approximately 1 hour. A confidence swim is ideal for adults who are looking to build confidence in a supportive and social environment before joining a general swim. A qualified swimming teacher is available for guidance. Welcome and guidance for 25 minutes before the session start time. There will also be tea and coffee available.
Very low intensity workout aimed at people wanting to improve strength and posture. Exercise bands are used within the session to increase strength for people who are de-conditioned or coming back to exercise following operations or illness.
