Perranporth Healthy Walking Group (Perranporth Community Hub) A circular walk that starts and ends in the car park of the St Michael’s Mission Church – the venue for the Perranporth Community Hub on a Wednesday morning. Swimming is an low-impact workout that works the whole body. It can help build cardiovascular fitness, stamina and strength.
Our gentle circuit exercise class is designed to support patients before, during and after cancer treatment. This class will gently work your whole body and is achievable for all levels of fitness. A Prehab/Rehab class that is designed to support you in returning to exercise or for those who are new to keeping fit.
A dedicated 55-minute session for those over 50+ that is both lane swimming and casual swimming, which also includes those with disabilities that require a quieter session.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
The Active Blaby team co-ordinate and sometimes lead a series of walks designed to get people moving. These Health Walks are quite short in length, relatively easy in pace and are delivered in a way to get you moving as a first step to building activity into your day. They are also a great chance to socialise with other like minded people and have some fun too!!
