Walking Football is a small-sided game of 5-7 players, following similar rules as Football, but played at a walking pace. The game is suitable for everyone from over 50’s, to those with health issues and younger players returning from injury.

Only £5 adults/£3 juniors, pay in the hall. Here Juniors with some experience, and Adults wishing to improve their game, can mix among other players. Just turn up to pay-and-play. Juniors are encouraged to come earlier, say 7-8:30pm and optional coaching is offered. Rusty racquets/beginner/returning adults are encouraged to come a bit later, say 8pm. This prevents overcrowding and a more compatible mix. Games may be shortened so no-one sits out for long!
Anyone who has a permanent physical impairment, aged over 8, can play wheelchair rugby with us. You do not need to be a wheelchair user to play. We have both adult and junior teams. Wheelchair Rugby is a mixed gender sport. There are two versions of wheelchair rugby, catering for different levels of impairments (4’s & 5’s). We also have a rugby league team. Wheelchair rugby league is an adaptive version of rugby league, designed for people with physical disabilities and is open to abled bodied too. It is played on indoor courts, with teams of five players who use specialised sports wheelchairs. The game combines elements of rugby league and wheelchair basketball, featuring high-intensity action, strategic play, and physical contact.
Our football club gives our members aged 16+ the chance to enjoy a popular sport and improve their skills. Players don’t need any football skills or knowledge of the game to join football club, just a willingness to get involved and a positive attitude! Our football team is entered in the Somerset FA South West Ability Counts league and play regular league matched against other teams from the region. The team are currently top of Division 2!
