ParaciseTM is a low intensity and low impact exercise class, that is accessible and specifically designed for those with a wide range of health conditions. It offers an entry point for all those people who would benefit physically and mentally from lower intensity exercise.
Our Dancing with Parkinson's programme offers dance and movement sessions which are appropriate for those living with Parkinson's and anyone living with a neurological condition, heart or circulatory disease. Falls are not an inevitable part of getting older and the good news is, falls can often be prevented. Steady and Strong classes for older adults have been developed by experts to increase your strength and balance, helping you to stay stronger for longer and able to keep doing the things you love. You will do a mix of seated and standing exercises, with chair support for those who need it.
Forever cycling is a low mobility cycling class, allowing users to "cycle" through some of the world's most amazing Cities and Landmarks. Using floor pedals from the comfort of a chair you will be shown a tour of various Cities whilst socialising with the group.
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting. Some poses will be done standing using a chair/ballet barre for support. Chair yoga can improve your flexibility, concentration and strength, while boosting your mood, and reducing stress and joint strain.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us.
