Dorset Wheelchair Basketball Club for physically disabled and non disabled adults. No experience necessary. We provide a basketball wheelchair so as long as you can use a conventional wheelchair you can play. First few sessions free of charge. Just let us know you are coming on dorsetdemons@gmail.com so we can ensure we have a wheelchair for you.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. Mixed ability. Equipment class using the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac Tower and Pilates Chair. This class uses the fundamentals of Pilates (improved posture, stability, flexibility and strength) and incorporates these into a higher intensity session using the Pilates equipment and small weights to strengthen, stretch and tone giving you that fabulous Pilates body – we may get a little sweaty in this class too!
BEGINNERS WELCOME Whether you're looking to improve your mobility, flexibility and strength, or learn some techniques to calm your mind and find focus, or if you're looking for some time for YOU - yoga can help. This friendly and inclusive class is suitable for beginners and those with more experience. Bring your own mat for the standard class price or hire a mat for an extra £2.00. (Limited number of mats available at this venue, so book in advance).
We teach our unique Pole fitness syllabus at 8 different levels with a set syllabus for each level that ensures safe progression and a vast collection of moves to suit everyone. Each lesson you will learn new tricks, spins and transitions whilst perfecting those you have already been taught.
Walking Netball is a friendly and inclusive session that you will love. It is Netball but at an enjoyable pace where the rules are slightly tweaked. All levels and abilities are welcomed whether you use to play in school or have never played before, walking Netball is a sociable session to get you moving and enjoying sport.
Community disability swimming sessions. Whatever your disability, fitness or water confidence, come and join our community sessions to be active in the water. We have a team of volunteers are to support, motivate and be friendly face.
Taking place at Bagshot Pavilion, this class is suitable for those who have done some Pilates before. The class will include exercises with options to work at different levels, meaning you can work at an easier level if you're newer to Pilates and at a more intermediate level if you've been doing Pilates for a while. This is a mat based class and may include the use of small equipment, which will be provided.
