A social, led, brisk, short walk which, done on a regular basis, can help you feel good and have more energy. Health Walks are led by trained walk leaders and vary in length to suit all abilities. Be sure to check with site to confirm the meeting place as it could be in a community setting rather than the Centre. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and possibly a drink.
One 45 minute Hatha Yoga class adaptable for students of all levels. Each week we work through different standing seated and inverted postures, working with the breath, concentration and bandhas (abdominal and pelvic floor)
Each paying ticket admits one carer free of charge. Supervision ratios apply for children under 8. These are: children 18M – 4Y = 1 full paying adult – 1 child. Children 5 – 7 Y = 1 full paying adult bouncing – 10 children. Over 8’s – No ratios apply. Trampoline socks must be worn.
Regular exercise is known to benefit health and can improve the long-term health conditions. Our gentle weights group improved strength and balance. The group will be a friendly and supportive environment for those seeking to achieve greater tone and strength.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
This class uses the latest body sculpting exercises and will work on every single muscle in the body in order to create the perfect toned body.
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. Join us on our beginners short walk from Eastney Community centre, to Milton Village hall. We take a stroll through Bransbury and Milton Park, where we stop for refreshments in a local cafe afterwards. This walk is vibrant, and we walk through lots of green, helping to get the most out of your walk for you mind and body. Ideal for beginners to walking or exercise, or those who are recovering from illness or injury. The walk takes around 30 minutes.
