Boccia is a precision ball sport, similar to bocce, and related to bowls and pétanque. The name "boccia" is derived from the Latin word for "boss" – bottia. The sport is contested at local, national and international levels, by athletes with severe physical disabilities.

Badminton is a very inclusive sport. This session is aimed particularly at adult participants who have an intellectual (learning) disability (Minimum age 16). If you would like to get involved with the great game of badminton, then this group could be for you. It’s the fastest racket sport in the world but don’t worry, we usually take a bit of time when we play! We start each session with a group warm up, just to loosen up and to prepare for the session. The children's wheelchair basketball session is open to everyone with all equipment provided. This session is great for anyone looking to try a new sport in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.
Walking football is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”. Our sports coaches are specially trained to deal with our members who have wide range of additional support needs. Our session allows people aged 12 and over to enjoy table tennis and boccia in a safe, supportive environment.

Keep Active Move More Classes are an enjoyable way to improve stamina and general fitness working at your own pace. You can see the improvements after five sessions. This is a circuit based exercise program designed to keep you active and young at heart. The exercises offered are aerobic, strength, balance and stretching.
