We have tandem cycling clubs in Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby, Selby, York, Teesside and Wakefield. We provide a volunteer pilot and our members are on the back. The clubs meet from April to October, on weekday evenings and last around 2 hours, with a sociable pub stop. This activity is for adults who are able to cycle and it's a great way to experience the fun and freedom of bieng on a bike. Support and equipment is provided.
Multi-sport session for children and young people with SEND and additional needs, all ability levels welcome. The session is for 8-19 year olds, siblings are welcome to attend also. The format of the sessions is multi-sport, our experienced coaches will provide a range of different sports, activities and games each week, encouraging participants to learn and develop new skills in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.
Better Things FC sits under the umbrella of Better Things Charity. We are based in Wythenshawe, South Manchester but accept players from all areas. Chasetown Youth FC offer a safe space for children with a range of learning disabilities to enjoy football, with indoor facilities offering a non-competitive environment to enjoy the fun of football and being part of a team! Training sessions are always structured to maximise the learning experience and above all, making sure everyone plays with a big smile on their face.
The club's pan disability football training sessions for 5-15 year olds are held on Thursday evenings 6-7pm. Fleet Town FC FA qualified coaches will lead the sessions that will concentrate on fun, development, co-ordination, team-work and football skills. Pan-disability football gives opportunities to anyone with any form of disability or special-education-need, to play football in a safe and fun environment. Wheelchair Rugby is a Paralympic sport for for both male and female players. The sport is a contact with sport (chair-to-chair contact) for all individuals with a physical impairment.
