Wheelchair Rugby League is an inclusive sport that mimicks the running game of Rugby League with adaptions for wheelchairs and tackling is pulling a tag from the sleeve. Any age, gender and ability as long as you can push yourself in a wheelchair. Disability players are anyone with a long term health condition and not based on mobility. Mixed Ability Rugby involves both disabled and non-disabled players participating in contact rugby together. It is perfect for anyone new to the game and wanting to give it a go. Our existing squad consists of 30+ players, all of whom were new players at one time! If you want to make new friends and learn a new sport, the Bucks are for you! Players must be male and 17+ (as it is adult contact rugby).
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Arsenal in the Community are teaming up with the UCLH Cancer Fund to deliver a walking football project specifically for men affected by Prostate Cancer. These weekly sessions combine our inclusive 1-hour walking football sessions with a 45-minute social support group. This will be a ‘safe space’ for participants to come together and socialise.
