This session is ideal for those with physical disabilities, mobility issues or long-term health conditions. Using our warmer temperature small pool to provide a calm, gentle environment for swimmers.
The classes are suitable for older adults who haven’t exercised before or who have started to experience a decline in their physical ability. Includes a 30 Minute Social. Each class is taught by a qualified and knowledgeable instructor who will be able to answer any questions you might have. You will be able to exercise at your own pace in a positive environment and meet others in your local community who are at a similar ability level. PD Power is a 45-minute exercise class designed to address Parkinson’s symptoms including coordination and balance as well as improve cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength. Our class is based on research that suggests high-effort, multidirectional and repetitive movements have the potential to help slow down the progression of Parkinson’s symptoms using neuroplasticity.
