Overview

Hatha Yoga (movement and breath) class for all abilities taught by experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher. Participants learn yoga poses to increase strength, flexibility and balance, combined with breathing techniques to promote a state of calm alertness. Sessions end with a short relaxation or meditation. Students of all ages, levels of experience and fitness are welcome. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for the session so it can start promptly.

Equipment:

The yoga studio is fully equipped, but bring a yoga mat if you have one, and a blanket if you want it for relaxation. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes so you can move without restriction. Bring an extra layer or two, depending on the weather. Yoga is practised in bare feet.
