Overview
Birmingham Walking FC’s over 65's sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday.
The 65+ events each last for a total of one hour 15 mins.
All Birmingham over 65s walking football sessions include a short warm up, practice ball drills, a one hour game and a post-match cool down. They are also followed by drinks and refreshments in the clubhouse.
The astroturf pitch at Beechcroft is not suitable for football boots, so players are asked to please wear trainers when attending. In addition, new players are also requested to call ahead of turning up to confirm space availability.
Beechcroft also hosts walking football sessions for other age groups, starting at 40+ and rising to over 70s. While all Birmingham Walking FC events are open to both genders, the club also runs a dedicated ladies session on Friday evenings or Monday evenings at Solihull Football centre.
