Overview

West Wimbledon Bowling Club is a disability freindly bowling club and has currently a large number of visually impaired bowlers amongst a few other disabilities. Due to the special requirments for Visually Impaired Bowlers (sighted assistence and strings), we have two sessions weekly where visually impaired bowlers play. Namely on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Visually impaired bowlers are also encouraged to play against and with non-disabled bowlers. The Club has a vibrant competition program, and disabled bowlers are encouraged to participate.
Further, the Club has an active social platform and is regarded as disability freindly and welcoming to new bowlers.
