Sports category:

Cycling Sports

Overview

We are a tandem cycling club for visually impaired people in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We partner sighted pilots on the front of the tandem with visually impaired riders on the back. We organise club rides on the first Saturday and third Sunday of each month. We ride at a sociable pace and have a long lunch together. The social aspect is as important as the exercise. We welcome visually impaired people aged 16 and over of all levels of fitness and cycling experience. We provide the bikes and helmets. We arrange try-it sessions. There is no charge (until you become a regular on group rides, when there is a nominal annual membership fee). Please get in touch!
