Overview

SWCP is a football club run for participants with ambulant cerebral palsy and other associated conditions such as stroke and acquired brain injuries.
We cater for players aged 15+ and play and train in Bridgwater. We have players attend our sessions from across the whole south west.
The club was formed from an existing FA Talent initiative and when the funding for this ceased it was continued as a club in its own right.
Several players continue to access the England Talent Pathway for CP football and we have players who have represented England at all levels.
The club prides itself on giving opportunities to play football locally in the South West as well as across the country and Europe.
The clubs post Covid plan is to get back training and playing regularly and aim to attend the Barcelona CP Tournament in 2022.
