Overview

Weekly softball sessions from April through to early September with Hursley Hurricanes. Come and meet the team and have a go at one of their training sessions! Slowpitch softball is a variation of the game of baseball. The game is fast paced with a lot of hitting and fielding. It's a competitive sport played in a relaxed and friendly manner. The teams are made up of equal numbers of male and female players. Solent Softball League welcomes players aged 14 and up, mixed abilities and experience. The club can supply all the necessary equipment (gloves, bats etc) to participate.

Meet at the IBM Hursley Clubhouse and then walk down to the softball diamond.

Equipment:

Loose clothing and trainers, or shoes with cleats to reduce slipping on grass. We provide bats, balls and gloves.
