Overview

Ever wanted to see the Liverpool docks from the water? Take a trip in our fully accessible Wheelyboat, which can reach speeds of 30mph.

Our team are highly experienced and will ensure you can access the boat via the ramp from the centre onto the ramp on the boat. The boat can accommodation up to 6 wheelchair users at a time or 10 people who are able to sit on the benches on the boat.

From the centre, you will be able to travel through the Liverpool Docks to the Albert Dock and enjoy the city of Liverpool from a new angle.

Equipment:

During cooler weather, it is advisable to wear warm clothes. Participants may get wet from water spray. All participants will be provided with buoyancy aids. Please do speak to the centre team if you have any concerns.

Accessibility Information:

Liverpool Watersports Centre has a disabled toilet and changing room and a couple of allocated parking spaces.

There is step free access to the activities via ramps from the car parks - these are quite steep but staff will be happy to provide assistance.

Access to the café and disabled toilets is on the same level as the car park and the café has excellent views of the watersports activities and the Liverpool waterfront.
