Overview

This 5 week course managed by the Holly Hill Leisure Centre is aimed at anyone who has recently taken up, or had a long break from running. All participants should be able to run 2+ miles.
Each week we shall do a different session aimed at improving your current level of running fitness. Sessions shall include easy runs discovering new routes, plus a gentle introduction to simple forms of interval training.

Weekly advice and tips shall be provided, and any questions answered. If wished, we can also discuss entering your first race, and how to train for it.

This course will provide new ideas on where to run, and how to get stronger. It will provide an opportunity to make new running buddies, as well as get to know your local area a little more. Above all, the aim is to keep them fun and friendly with the aim to encourage you to continue with your running.
