Accessibility Information:
We are an Olympic Weightlifting and Strength Training Club based at Sheffield Hallam University. We have purchased a para power bench and have extended our membership offer to include this sport as a discipline within our club model. We have a main gym facility which you are welcome to train in, the para power bench is in a separate room so our para power group can train together as a community but also work in the main gym with the rest of the squad. The building is step free and has wheelchair access. There is a disabled toilet but no shower facilities (for anyone). There is disability parking right outside and a wheelchair access door leading in to the building. We run informal and friendly sessions. While we have coaches our sessions are not specifically coach led, we will support you but also look for our members to support each other and work together. If you are looking to train for general health, fitness and to make friends you'll fit in. We would also welcome those who want to train for competition too but it is not mandatory. Please get in touch with questions or to find out more.
