Overview

The Diamond Centre for Disabled Riders provides adults and children who have physical disabilities and / or learning difficulties, the opportunity to participate in horse and pony riding, vaulting and carriage driving to promote their social welfare and improve their health and life conditions through training, recreation and rehabilitation.

Attending the club:

There is great demand for equine related therapies and the centre has a waiting list. Enquiries and registration are handled by our office administration team - details can be found on our website: www.diamondcentre.org.uk

When we meet:

The centre is open for riding Tuesday - Friday (morning, afternoon and evening) and on Saturday (morning and afternoon).

Equipment:

Riders and volunteers will be advised of clothing requirements as part of our induction / assessment process.

Accessibility Information:

The centre is able to cater for those with physical disabilities and learning difficulties.

Horse riding is subject to an assessment.
