Overview

Clanfield Bowls & Sports Club (CBSC is run entirely by volunteers and it provides a valuable community hub where members of all ages, abilities and backgrounds can play or learn to play bowls, play board games and attend evening events. We care about creating an inclusive, friendly and fun ethos, where all feel welcome and respected.

We are one of the few Clubs in the country to offer the use of a Bowls Wheelchair. Subject to contacting admin@clanfieldbsc.com the wheelchair is available for use on any of the five days that we are open. We are aiming to purchase a second Bowls Wheelchair (battery propelled) to give users even greater self sufficiency to enjoy the game of Bowls. Please do visit our website and get in touch as this opportunity opens up new possibilities to enjoy the game of Bowls

Regrettably due to the Covid-19 virus, we had to suspend the Club's activities during 2020 but now, with full Covid-secure procedures in place, we are getting back to being fully reopened and welcoming new Members.

Our Club has stunning views across rolling countryside and it is important to us to do all we can to enhance the participation in sport, as much through watching the game of bowls, as through playing it.
