Overview
Indirock is a new indoor bouldering wall and coffee shop coming soon to Southend. Bouldering is a form of climbing which is closer to the ground - our walls will go to a maximum of 3.8m high. So it's great for people who aren't keen on heights, but enjoy a new challenge!

When we meet:
Timings will be announced once we open in autumn 2021.
Is there a specific meeting point at the address:
The first floor walkway, opposite New Look.
Equipment:
We will provide accessibility gear such as full body harnesses, belayer glasses and helmets upon request, for free. Climbing shoes can be hired for £3, and otherwise you'll just need stretchy clothing which isn't too baggy.
Accessibility Information:
Indirock is within a shopping centre on Southend high street which has good accessibility throughout. There is disabled parking, step free access to our unit on the first floor, wheelchair accessible toilets and changing rooms.
We've designed our whole facility with feedback from our local disability community. It is possible to get some way around the climbing areas with a wheelchair, although there is matting closer to the walls so some help will be needed to get to the climbing walls themselves. We have zoned lighting and speakers so can create quiet zones with lower lighting and we will have sessions throughout the week which are disability friendly.
