Overview

Welcoming blind, partially sighted and fully sighted players; Blackburn Goalball Club holds training sessions every other Saturday between 1pm-3pm. It offers participants the chance to come along and play the only sport that's been designed specifically for the blind. Invented in 1946 to rehabilitate blinded veterans of the second world war, goalball is now a Paralympic sport. Social and competitive opportunities available. £5 charge per session.
