Overview
Fun sessions for all above 8yrs old. Focus on development of independent skills in Bell boating, Power-boating and Sailing delivered in partnership with our charity Accessible Boating Thames (Charity No 1181307). We have wide mix of equipment and skills enabling us to provide support those who wish to engage in water sports blended with a very welcoming approach.

When we meet:
Powerboating is available 7 days a week but is dependent on river conditions. Easter to October we social sail on Sunday mornings and teach sailing on Sunday afternoons. In the summer holidays social sail is Monday all day and training to Tuesday-Friday.

Parking is available at the Sailing School with 15m of the waters edge.
Equipment:
We provide all the safety equipment, you will need to ensure you have enough clothes to stay warm. We design all the sessions as dry sessions but we cant stop it raining so waterproofs maybe required to keep the wind and rain off. If you have your own sling or slide board please bring it.
Accessibility Information:
We are part of a large site known as Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. There is a Disabled toilet with our classroom which also has ramp-ed access. We have accessible changing rooms onsite as well as a cafe, restaurant, hotel and conferencing facilities. All our pontoons are chair accessible and we have a hoist for those prefer to transfer to sailing boats in this way, we train to Sailability Gold level and then onto the RYA stage or level systems. Our powerboat (wheelboat v20) is chair accessible and have access to RIB's as required, we train to the Sailabilty Gold standard and then onto PB1&2. Our aim is to coach and support allowing independence for the participant though supportive skills development and friendly approach.
