Overview
Our training programme is designed to get you off the couch and gradually working up to running 5kms non stop over a period of 14 weeks, culminating with the Hastings parkrun on Saturday 31st March. You will be in a supportive group environment, working with an experienced coach, Nick Brown of Hastings Runners, who helps people of all ages and abilities. He is also the event director for the hugely successful Hastings parkrun, which has attracted over 2000 local people into grassroots since it started in 2015.Walk 2 Run is for everyone, whatever your age or fitness level. Whether you've never run before, or if you want to get back into being more active, this is a great way to get fitter and healthier. If you have any health concerns about beginning an exercise regime, then please consult your GP first.
