Birmingham athletics academy is a weekly athletics club based at the University of Birmingham athletics track every Wednesday evening 17:00-18:15. Our athletes get to try out all of the track and field events, working on different skills each week. The resistance of the water makes the workout feel far more intense, while the water cushions you from the impact. Whilst Water Aerobics is a great form of resistance training, it also focuses on aerobic endurance, which can help you build muscle tone, and get fit.
