Wheelchair curling is open to athletes who have a physical impairment in the lower half of their body. It is now practiced in 24 different countries...the club meets every week, anyone in this category is welcome along for a try in the NorthWest Castle ice rink on club days

A social, led, brisk, short walk which, done on a regular basis, can help you feel good and have more energy. Health Walks are led by trained walk leaders and vary in length to suit all abilities. Be sure to check with site to confirm the meeting place as it could be in a community setting rather than the Centre. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and possibly a drink.
Low impact Tap Dance Fitness class Seated or standing with the support of a chair. This is a 40 minute class. Can be done without tap shoes

Our aim is to encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
