Come and play this very accessible sport with ActivLives. Boccia is a truly inclusive sport. Played seated, it has been a Paralympic sport since 1984. The game is usually played in two teams, who compete to try to send/throw/kick their balls closer to the target (the jack), than their opponents. Sport for Confidence programmes place health professionals and specialist coaches into leisure centers, to provide inclusive sporting opportunities to people who face barriers to participation, including those with learning disabilities, mental health issues, dementia, autism, physical impairment or disability, homelessness, and many other complex health needs.

Each paying ticket admits one carer free of charge. Supervision ratios apply for children under 8. These are: children 18M – 4Y = 1 full paying adult – 1 child. Children 5 – 7 Y = 1 full paying adult bouncing – 10 children. Over 8’s – No ratios apply. Trampoline socks must be worn.
This class is for anyone with limitations due to a medical condition or just haven't exercised in some time. Sessions cover a number of components of Exercise to help improve Cardiovascular fitness, Strength of muscles and bones together with improving balance. It's a friendly and informal class offering alternative exercises when needed.
Practice from the comfort of your own home. A 60 minute class aimed at people who are less mobile and unable to come down to a mat on the floor. The class starts sitting in the chair using grounding techniques to bring awareness into the present moment and progresses to standing postures with support of the chair if you are able. This is a gentle practice to mobilise the whole body without putting strain on vulnerable areas. We finish with a seated meditation.
Lasts up to 45 minutes, about 2 miles, uneven surface and moderate hills. If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing.
