Autonomy FC is a disability football club that provides coaching to people aged 16 and over with a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, or a learning disability. We hold monthly volunteer-led training sessions on Saturday mornings at Lythwood Sports Complex, Bayston Hill, near Shrewsbury. Our goal is to enable disabled children and adults to take part in a competitive sport using an adapted electric wheelchair. Founded in 2007 and boasting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the club is always on the lookout for enthusiastic new recruits. We currently have one squad that plays in the Wheelchair Football Association (WFA) National Championship League and two squads who play in South East Regionals division 1 and 3.
