We have been providing an opportunity for Physically Disabled participants to play and train in a social and fun environment. Our new Downs Syndrome Futsal team is based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This session is for all abilities, all genders aged 18+. Sessions are every Tuesday 6-7pm. Futsal is a football-based sport played on a hardcourt like a basketball court, smaller than a football pitch. It has similarities to five-a-side football / indoor football, and is considered to have increased accessibility thanks to these and other adaptions.
Glasgow Wheelchair Rugby is Scotland’s only full contact wheelchair rugby club. Based in Glasgow the club is made up of two teams, The Caledonian Crushers our adult team, training 7-9pm and our junior team, The Caledonian Clan, training 6-7pm both at Tollcross Leisure Centre, every Tuesday. Wheelchair rugby is an exciting, fun and fast paced sport where there can be a role in the team for those with least amount of physical function. The club is open to both sexes and ages eight upward.
