The OTAGO class is taught by a fully qualified OTAGO Instructor. The session includes a warm up, mobility exercises for our joints, strength work using either body weight or therabands (resistance bands) and balance exercises in stationary and walking (with the support of a chair back if needed). Adapted cycling session for adults with a disability, all ability levels welcome. Participants will have the chance to experience riding a range of adapted bikes in a safe and secure environment with trained staff to support them. Our experienced coaches will educate individuals on how to ride, i.e. pedalling, steering and braking. Sessions will mainly take place inside the sports hall, but when the weather is nice, we can go outdoors.
