Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. Join our volunteer walk leaders every Monday 10am, for a 3 mile walk around the reserve. On the second and fourth monday of each month we offer 2 walks, 3 miles or 5-6 miles. Dogs on short leads welcome, please dress for the weather which can be unpredictable at the coast and bring water to keep hydrated. The ground can be uneven in places. A Low Impact circuit class aimed for residents who are inactive and at risk of cardiovascular diseases and mild to moderate mental health conditions. Please note all participants looking to take part must book a consultation to see the Get Active Specialist first. Chair yoga with Freddie, bookable by the Seniors category. All abilities welcome. A gentle seated yoga class focusing on mobility and including breathwork, which is good for the joints, increases flexibility, eases pain, stimulates circulation, improves balance, and promotes independence and overall wellbeing. This is a 45-minute class.
