parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. parkrun is 5k and takes place every Saturday morning. junior parkrun is 2k, dedicated to 4-14 year olds and their families, every Sunday morning. parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Greenwich parkrun is a free, weekly, 5km timed run that takes place every Saturday at 9am in Avery Hill park near Eltham. Greenwich parkrun is open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. We encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all. Join us for a weekly timed run, jog, or walk over a measured 5km (3.1 mile) course which starts and finishes in Apex Park. The route takes you around the lake, back on the river path and along the Esplanade, turning around before the jetty, and heading back to the finish.
